The gimp wonders if yesterday's katyushas were just a subtle reminder, or the first shots in the next round of fighting with the Arabs.
The gimp wonders if yesterdays katyushas were just a subtle reminder from our dear friends across the order that they are still there.
I was happily resting in bed watching socially enlightening shows on TV(Beverly Hillbilly reruns) with my feet up as per doctor's orders, when the phone rang and my reporter friend(Ynet) was on the other end of the line. He wanted to know if I'd heard the katyusha that had landed but a few minutes previously on the outskirts of town. I hadn't heard it, but, Pegasus the fearless Keeshond obviously had, as he was cowering as far under my bed as he could get. I did hear our return fire and then, some more katyushas landing; again just outside of town. My first thoughts were, "Thank you very much Mr._resident. This one is all yours. The Iranians, Syrians, Turks and all the other Arabs are feeling pretty secure that America will do absolutely nothing to stop them from going at least one more round with us using their favorite proxy armies, Hamass and the Hizzbullies. Things have been quite today, but there is a tension in the air. We know what that tension means and many of are preparing for the worst. People are making sure they have full fuel tanks and that they have enough emergency food and water supplies. It's not a nice feeling and it particularly angers me that the American _resident is responsible for it with his irresponsible apologies to the world for America being the greatest country in the world while systematically squandering America's strength against threats of this kind.
I found it particularly interesting that the Hamass and Hizzbullies both chose to shoot at us while a joint American, Israeli military exercise is going on. They are sure there will be no repercussions resulting from these blatant acts of aggression, even as they blame us. And blame us, they will.
