This time it's all Obamba's fault

The gimp wonders if yesterday's katyushas were just a subtle reminder, or the first shots in the next round of fighting with the Arabs.
The gimp wonders if yesterdays katyushas were just a subtle reminder from our dear friends across the order that they are still there.
I was happily resting in bed watching socially enlightening shows on TV(Beverly Hillbilly reruns) with my feet up as per doctor's orders, when the phone rang and my reporter friend(Ynet) was on the other end of the line. He wanted to know if I'd heard the katyusha that had landed but a few minutes previously on the outskirts of town. I hadn't heard it, but, Pegasus the fearless Keeshond obviously had, as he was cowering as far under my bed as he could get. I did hear our return fire and then, some more katyushas landing; again just outside of town. My first thoughts were, "Thank you very much Mr._resident. This one is all yours. The Iranians, Syrians, Turks and all the other Arabs are feeling pretty secure that America will do absolutely nothing to stop them from going at least one more round with us using their favorite proxy armies, Hamass and the Hizzbullies. Things have been quite today, but there is a tension in the air. We know what that tension means and many of are preparing for the worst. People are making sure they have full fuel tanks and that they have enough emergency food and water supplies. It's not a nice feeling and it particularly angers me that the American _resident is responsible for it with his irresponsible apologies to the world for America being the greatest country in the world while systematically squandering America's strength against threats of this kind.
I found it particularly interesting that the Hamass and Hizzbullies both chose to shoot at us while a joint American, Israeli military exercise is going on. They are sure there will be no repercussions resulting from these blatant acts of aggression, even as they blame us. And blame us, they will.

The consequences of talking down America

The gimp wonders if any one is paying attention to what is going on in my little corner of the world. In between hospitalizations, of which there have been 7 since September 2008,  and more to come (Hey, I'm a gimp! We have health issues!) I have managed to catch some news casts, mostly in Hebrew. I almost had to ask to be taken away to a padded room last week after hearing the following. I still might.
It seems that America, Israel and Turkey(supposedly a good friend to Israel) were scheduled to hold a joint military training exercise in the near future. Then, out of the blue the Turks pulled out citing the war crimes supposedly committed by Israel during the last scuffle with Hamas in Gaza. Then, the US pulled out and announced that the training exercise with Israel would take place without Turkey as Haifa Harbor was already full of ships and everything was pretty much ready. Then, we hear that not only did Turkey stab both countries in the backs, they have now aligned themselves with Syria, in a new strategic agreement which is backed by Iran's influence. If that's not enough, Turkey is running a series on their main TV channel that shows what supposedly went on during the last go around in Gaza. They show what are obviously Israeli soldiers shooting new born babies in from of their mothers and other blood libels. By the time they are done with that series even more Arab lies will be established as truth, much as the lie that there is such a thing as a Palestinian.
We have the American Boy Wonder President to thank for all this. He has given Iran the impression (probably a true one) that he will try to talk everyone to death and that his empty threats at any kind of action are emptier than his suit. This is what all his diplomatic apologies have brought us to. And for this he gets a Peace Prize?
