Did someone forget her to take her meds?

The gimp wonders if Mrs. HillBilly forgot to take her meds the other day. That little tirade against Bam Bam certainly showed why so many people call her Shrillary, and raises serious questions about her mental stability. One minute she's all gooey cooey on Bam Bam, the next she's lecturing him like he's a naughty little boy and calling him out for a duel (with words as weapons of choice). Mrs. HillBill's schizophrenia is showing. Do we really want someone who is so obviously unbalanced even running for the Presidency? I can but hope that her outburst will the last nail in the coffin that is her campaign. I must admit to a certain amount of pleasure watching her self destruct with the whole world looking on. Being married to a harriden like her almost makes Slick Dick's dalliances understandable.

On another subject entirely, the gimp wonders if anyone remembers what the alternative to GWB was the last two times around? Bad as GWB might have been, and he was far from perfect, does no one wonder what would have happened had either of his previous opponents had won the general election? Can any sane person actually think that either Gore or the King of Ketchup would have been any better? I shudder to even wonder about it. For all Bush's faults, and he displayed many, he was still better than either of those two megalomanics.

Figures, doesn't it?

The gimp wonders what is wrong with the 'green' tree huggers.
Our Knesset was on the verge of sending a bill requiring the use of those funny looking florescent No suggestions in all public institutions from committee to the Knesset for a vote when they received a letter from an investigator of the effects of florescent bulbs on humans stating that there are at least 50 studies linking cancer to those environmentally friendly light bulbs. Isn't that interesting? I'm not one to immediately buy into what the latest study on anything says, but this one piqued  my interest.
Um does using those odd looking light bulbs really contribute to those exposed getting cancer? Actually from what I read about it, it's all florescent bulbs, the regular long ones and the screwy looking ones. It will be interesting to see where the tree huggers go with this. Let them get cancer we want to save the environment, or people first? My bet is the former.
The gimp wonders who is going to protect from the enviroidiots.

There's that pesky light bulb again!

The gimp wonders if it's fair to compare the people to the country?
I just a read a letter to the editor in my old home town newspaper that was going on about America being disliked by other countries and that she should try to be better liked. The constant competition between the Smiths and Jones' came to mind as did the issue of jumping off a roof because some one said to.
I get truly irritated when people do or say things on the basis of 'what will the neighbors say?' You can well imagine my reply to that if this isn't your first time here. I can't count high enough to know how many people have gotten The Lecture from on the subject.
It starts off with a question as to if they are living their life for themselves or the nosy neighbors and and continues with explanations of why it's better to be indepent and decide things based on what is good and right for you, not how someone else will view/judge it. I had a flash of imagination where all the elected functionaries in D.C. were standing around, wringing their hands and worrying out loud what Canada, Mexico, England, France, Germany, Russia and a whole list of other countries would say. Oh dear, that image has just expanded to include the entire population doing that. I guess I'll be able to use them to count instead of sheep to get to sleep.
It is my considered opinion that countries, especially America and Israel should take my advice and do what is right, not what some of their citizens (those who are overly concerned about someone might say) think they should do based on the 'what will 'they' say about us. We could all just follow my mother's advice which was to try not do things we'll be ashamed of having to explain later. Not ashamed of having to explain to others, rather, ourselves, and the Ultimate Judge. At the end of the day it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks about me. They should be more involved with their own lives than mine. I won't be called on to give them the final accounting. That goes to a Higher Authority.
The gimp wonders what you all have to say about that.

Maybe just maybe

The gimp wonders if it's possible that the bad weather and other 'natural' events in the U.S. are not the fault of global warming, but, rather an attempt by Someone Above to express His Divine displeasure with the left turn things are taking there?
Granted, there's no way to prove it, but I think it just might be the answer. I'm not saying that because of this everyone has to turn into believers. I do think, however that a return to minimal levels of morality is needed, not the liberal feel good kind, but, the good old right from wrong, good vs. evil kind.
Where did this come from? Well, the gimp wonders about all kinds of off the walls issues and has been mulling this one over in her admittedly damaged mind since the last war over here. Summer is usually unbearably hot over here, but the summer of '06 was strangely comfortable for the duration of the war with the hizzbullies. Immediately after the war it got incredibly hot and I predicted in A Gimp's View that we'd have a really bad winter; either not enough rain, or destructive weather. because of the actions of our leaders, which we brought upon ourselves by electing them. I am not happy to say that so far I have been right about that. Our fearless leader had another chance just this week to do the right things and of course didn't. The weather people have been going on and on about a rain system that is stalled in the Med for no reason they can think of. I think it's stalled there in the hope that Olmert, Barak and all their merry partners in crime will do the right thing. As they haven't and most likely won't, it will not surprise me in the least if that storm turns into something very nasty and causes lots of damage.
That's us. Now, for you.
I couldn't help but wonder if the fires, mud slides and other nasties that happened in California just might have been a Divine Warning to stop  behaving so badly.  Now, in the winter severe weather is hitting the rest of the country.
Maybe, just maybe, it's time to take a good hard look at things.
The gimp wonders, oh, does she ever wonder.

A campaign fantasy

The gimp wonders if her fantasies are going to land her in a padded room.
Two women, (shall we call them Gracie and Lucie for the purpose of this post?) were having their morning chat by IM and got a little silly. One of their favorite subjects came up, and they ran with it to ludicrous lengths. Lucie mentioned that she is woman. She is strong and she can take it, where as most men would have wimped out long ago if they had to go through what she does. That lead to speculation that it was too bad that Condoleeza Rice didn't enter the race, but concluded that she's much to smart to do that. A few nasty comments were made about Mrs. Slick Dick and that a knock down drag out  brawl between her and Mrs. Obama (Bam Bam) could be fun to watch. It was suggested that Mr. Slick Dick , who would be standing just off stage, would offer her a physical enticement to distract Mrs Bam Bam from her attack on Mrs. Slick Dick, and that Mrs. Bam Bam (Pebbles) would bite it right off,  thusly putting an immediate stop to Mr. Slick Dick's philandering.
Granted the language was a bit more on the crude side, but the very thought of it had both Gracie and Lucie laughing out loud. That would be a sight to see during a live TV debate!
Don't we women have a wonderful fantasy life?
The gimp is now wondering if Gracie is going to regret daring Lucie to post this. If any of you have any fantasies you'd like to share with us, please do.
